The Huron County OPP helps to keep Port Albert and other lakeshore communities safe, connected, and informed. From regular patrols to emergency response and road closures, they support residents with crime prevention, traffic safety, and community outreach.

OPP PROVINCIAL LIAISON TEAM (PLT) supports individuals and groups in organizing peaceful, respectful gatherings. The PLT team work collaboratively with everyone involved to ensure open dialogue and smooth coordination before, during, and after events. They can also assist in de-escalating or mediating neighbour disputes.
