Ashfield-Colborne Lakefront Association (ACLA) is a not-for-profit “umbrella” organization representing the lakefront areas between Amberley and Goderich in Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh Township, Huron County, Ontario.

From the ACLA website:

ACLA’s mission is to coordinate advocacy on common concerns of the lakefront community. The values that membership in ACLA provides to the lakefront community are:

  • lines of communication with local agencies (ACW, MVCA, HPPH, etc) to ensure awareness and consideration of lakefront concerns
  • enhanced environmental stewardship
  • improvements to water quality

$10 of your PACA dues is paid to the ACLA, to fund water quality projects and lobby stakeholders on behalf of member associations.

Every year they hold a Communications Coordinators meeting where representatives from the member associations attend to share information and get updates from area stakeholders including the Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh (ACW) and the Maitland Valley Conservation Authority (MVCA).
